Vicki Roberts is an entertainment industry veteran who has worked in all facets of the business - film, television, and music, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She has been an on-air legal commentator, and behind the scenes, she has been known as a highly skilled and respected attorney and talent representative. She is a member of RTNA (Radio Television News Association).
Ms. Roberts was a series regular on truTV's (formerly Court TV's) Disorder in the Court television show and appeared on Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell on CNN's Headline News, on Geraldo at Large on FOX News, and many other television shows. She also co-starred on the nationally syndicated television show, Jury Duty, as a celebrity juror.
For quite a number of years Ms. Roberts was a legal commentator on television and has been quoted in newspapers and magazines worldwide. She was probably most recognized for her many recurring appearances on the nationally syndicated television legal show, Celebrity Justice. She has also appeared on Access Hollywood, Extra, E! Entertainment, and MSNBC's The Abrams Report. She has been quoted on the television show Inside Edition, MSNBC's Scarborough Country, and by many press outlets throughout the world, including FOXNews.com and NBC.com.
Ms. Roberts' past clients include Academy Award nominee Sally Kirkland, Armand Assante, David Carradine, Estate of David Carradine, Engelbert Humperdinck, Michael Madsen, Lou Ferrigno, Jermaine Jackson, Don Kirshner (Rock Concert, The Monkees), Ken Osmond (Leave it to Beaver), Academy Award nominee Gary Busey, Seymour Heller (Liberace's Manager), and others. She has also provided legal consultation to Academy Award winner Red Buttons, Larry King, and other luminaries.
A veteran civil and criminal litigator and appellate practitioner, and former Los Angeles Municipal Court Judge Pro Tem, on December 26, 2004, Ms. Roberts officiated at the wedding of Annie and David Carradine at the home of Michael Madsen. It was the third wedding ceremony over which she presided during the course of her career.
Vicki Roberts is a member of the famed Schildkraut family acting dynasty, whose most notable member, Joseph Schildkraut, won the Oscar for best supporting actor and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While she is best known as a television personality, she can also be seen guest starring in the acclaimed movies, Being Michael Madsen and Through Your Eyes. In Being Michael Madsen she played the role of attorney Vicki Roberts (it was a scripted mockumentary) and in Through Your Eyes she also served as co-Executive Producer.
Ms. Roberts has been featured or quoted in many newspapers and magazines, including Vanity Fair, People Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Jerusalem Post, Angeleno, L.A. Confidential, and Celebrity Society, and was featured in a full length article about her life in Lifestyles Magazine.
In November 2007 Ms. Roberts was named Celebrity Ambassador of the spca-LA for her tireless efforts on behalf of animals and animal causes. In 2011 she lent her support to a major campaign to save the world's dwindling population of tigers.
